Contact Me
If, for some reason, you feel the need to contact me directly, be it to ask a direct question (which is cool, I love answering questions. Especially Oscar questions), or agree or disagree with me about whatever (I really don’t mind being called a fucking idiot, so don’t be shy. I’ll probably agree with you. All I ask is that you please try to have the your/you’re distinction down before you do it. Your (see?) insults are taken a lot less seriously when you can’t use proper grammar. Just something to marinate on), or what have you, I can be reached at:
bplusmovieblog@gmail.com
(The fact that I have an official email address amuses me to no end, so feel free to email me.)
Also, if by chance anyone out there is interested in looking for any of the Oscar Quest films and can’t find one (or wants to know where to look), I’m definitely willing to help you out and point you in the right direction. At this point, I can get you any of the ones on this list (minus the ones I still need to see). The only request here is — do me a favor, don’t waste my time. At least check Netflix first, before you ask me. Don’t just ask without looking. Don’t be one of those people.
I couldn’t. Agree more with your choice of Sam Shepard for The Right Stuff for Best Supporting Actor over Jack Nicholson for Terms of Endearment in 1983. I was wondering when you’re going to post a page on it as I’m interested to hear your reasons.

It’s not scheduled to go up for a while (like, November), but I’ll see what I can do, try to get it in sooner. And honestly my reasoning is that Nicholson just didn’t need the extra Oscar. He’s not really a dude who is also solid with supporting roles, aside from being a leading man, so all he did there was take an Oscar away from legit supporting actors. And, of the other nominees, it’s probably between Durning and Shepard for me (just because I use vote split logic between Nicholson and Lithgow), and while I liked Durning better (he’s hilarious in To Be or Not to Be), Shepard was just so awesome as Yeager. He’s just a badass. And I know he’s not really in the film so much, but I think the badass factor makes up for that.
