Mike’s Favorite Films

If you’re reading about someone’s opinions on movies, you should at least know (even generally) what their tastes are. Especially with a blog like this. Here I am, just a girl, standing in front of a boy writing my opinions on movies and telling you whether or not I think you should see them. You should at least know what my favorite movies are, so you can compare them to your tastes and know just how much you feel you can trust my opinions.

So here’s a quick and easy, albeit very superficial (but what are we as a nation if not superficial?), way to get an idea of what movies I like: a list of my favorite films of all time. Anything past this, you’ll need to do a bit more homework than this article. (Hint: Read the blog!) Or just ask me. I’m always willing to answer questions.

I’ll probably add more to this page as I create more lists and stuff (favorites in particular genres, by director, etc.), but for now, here are what I consider to be my favorite films:

(Note: After #1, 2-5 are definitely 2-5, but they aren’t in any particular order. Then, 6-20 are in alphabetical order, but are pretty close to what 6-20 would be. Then the 21-40 are only on there because I figured I’d make it like a Top 40 kind of thing. These are pretty much interchangeable with about twenty other films. I figured they can be used to just generally get a bit of a broader idea of what I like.)
