This is it, folks. The end.
Of course, not really the end, because this is Hollywood, and even when something ends, there’s always the possibility of a sequel somewhere.
In this case, there actually will be a sequel. Tomorrow I’ll be posting all the films without release dates. (Lots of them, too. I won’t make the same mistake I made last year.)
But before we do that — we have November and December to deal with. They’re pretty simple — Oscar movies and big budget stuff designed to soak up all the money that the quality films don’t make. There’s always your franchises that gravitate around Thanksgiving and Christmas, and outside of that, it’s pretty much all Oscar stuff, thereby making it my favorite time of year.
